Cal State East Bay defender Luna Sarmiento provided contributions on both ends of the pool for the first-place Pioneers. The junior from Madrid was dependable on the defensive end, racking up six steals while only being excluded once over two games. She was solid on the offensive end as well, notching a hat trick in both wins and finishing with four assists over the weekend.
