2023 WWPA Player of the Year Daniela Passoni had a weekend to remember for Cal State East Bay. The senior racked up two 20-plus save performances in wins over Biola and Santa Clara. Her 21 saves helped the Pioneers grab first place in the West Region in a one-goal win over Biola. 24 hours later against SCU, the South African stopped 20 shots and allowed just three goals in 24 minutes of work. She had a .719 save percentage for the week.
