Molly Sebunia of Gannon has been named WWPA Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 12-18, 2024 after anchoring the Golden Knights to four consecutive wins at the Curtis Robinette Memorial Invitational. She totaled 38 saves, a .576 save percentage and seven steals while doling out two assists. The junior from Erie made 14 saves in a low-scoring affair against rival Mercyhurst. She ranks in the WWPA top three in goals-against average (10.26), save percentage (.469) and total saves (91).
