Stella Martin, Cal State Monterey Bay

Cal State Monterey Bay’s Stella Martin has been named WWPA Offensive Player of the Week for asserting herself as the provider during the first week of conference play. The Freshman out of Fresno totaled 12 assists over two road matches at Fresno Pacific and UC Merced. Against the Sunbirds in the WWPA opener, Martin assisted on all five Otter scores before dishing out a season-high seven and adding a goal against the Bobcats. Her 36 total assists and 2.1 assists-per-game are both best in the WWPA.
