Joey Rebelo, McKendree

Joey Rebelo of McKendree has been named the WWPA Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 12-18, 2024 after leading the Bearcats to a 4-0 weekend at the Macalester Invite. The Montreal native had 14 goals and a total of 17 points on the weekend, including five apiece in wins over Ottawa (Ariz.) and Occidental. She added a hat trick for good measure in a one-goal win against Virginia Military Institute. The sophomore attacker has scored 21 goals during the Bearcats’ six game winning streak and leads the conference with 29 goals and 41 points in 2024.
