Tanner Powell, Concordia

Concordia’s Tanner Powell anchored the Golden Eagle defense on the road last week, helping CUI to its first conference victory and a one-goal win over a pesky UC Merced squad. Powell matched his season high with 15 saves (.682) in the conference win over Fresno Pacific, holding the Sunbirds to a single score in the opening quarter and just two goals in the third.
