It’s a familiar award for Biola’s standout goalkeeper, Mitchell Carpenter. The junior from Yucaipa earned his third WWPA Defensive Player of the Week award this season after logging 60 saves over 152 minutes played across six matches. He added four assists and five steals in the process. Carpenter leads the WWPA in steals (32), saves (244), save percentage (.519) and goals-against average (11.08).
