Fernanda Luna, Biola

Fernanda Luna made the difference in her first collegiate conference game for the Eagles. The freshman goalkeeper matched her career high with 11 saves in the Eagles’ conference road win at Concordia and shut out the Golden Eagles’ in the fourth quarter. She added two steals. Luna, from León, Mexico, is tied for second in the WWPA with 87 total saves and is fourth in save percentage (.429). Interestingly, both of her career-high save performances have come against conference opponents (11 vs. Cal State Monterey Bay, Jan. 16).
