95 student-athletes earn WWPA All-Academic honors

The Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) announced the 2024 Women's All-Academic Team on Thursday. 95 student-athletes were honored for their classroom performance.

Cal State East Bay led the conference with 15 overall selections, one of six conference programs with double-digit totals. Salem had 14 named, while two-time defending conference champion Biola came in with 13.

To qualify, a student-athlete must meet the following:

• Be an active participant of their team having competed in at least 50 percent of games

• Carry over a 3.0 cumulative GPA

• Classified as a full-time student for all terms of attendance

• Completed a minimum of one semester or two quarters at their institution
