Gannon utility Victor Volant’s standout offensive performance during the WWPA Bearcat Clash has the Golden Knights on top of the East Region following the first weekend of conference play. The sophomore from France combined for 11 goals over two WWPA wins over Salem and McKendree, shooting .846 (11-for-13) in the process. He scored six in the win over Salem to open the tournament, and then capped off the weekend with five more against McKendree. Over four total games, Volant scored 13 goals, stole six balls, and dished out two assists while shooting .619. He leads the conference in steals (41), sprint wins (25) and sprint win percentage (.833) while ranking in the top-10 for goals (44, 9th), assists (26, 10th) and points (70, 8th).
