Goncalo Silva has been named WWPA Defensive Player of the Week following his complementary play at the Navy Open. The Portuguese goalkeeper and utility player spent eight quarters over three games in the cage, registering a conference-best .592 save percentage and tallying 29 saves. He made 18 saves in the win over Biola, tallying a .728 save percentage in the win over the defending WWPA champions.
